Skeleton on a Pillow

The deceased was placed into the sarcophagus on the grassy bed, an elaborate "pillow" was constructed over the south half of the sarcophagus from surface soil. This photo was taken before the skeleton was completey excavated. A layer of clay still covers the lower limbs.
