WHAT TO BRINGIt may be hot and sunny in the daytime. The excavatiaons are located in the open, so we recommend hats and shirts with long sleeves for working. It is rather dusty (and after rain muddy) at the site, so bring closed shoes as well as sandals. Nights may be very cool and you will need sweater, sweatshirts and a jacket. The camp will not electricity so you will need a flashlight. There is a cold shower in the camp, and well go to the bathhouse once a week, but we shall also go to the river by bus every day (not obligatory), so bring a swimsuit. Bring a sleeping and an air mattress as cots are not provided but the floor is covered. There will be two people in a tent. The tents are rated for three people, so they are spacious enough. Tableware is provided. We shall have three meals a day besides a small snack in the field. Its not necessary to take food, but if you want to buy something edible, there is a shop in the village that well visit every two or three days. (The ice cream is excellent.) There is no laundry but well have some basins and laundry powder in the camp, but there will be no hot water. We can find some woman in the village who may do laundry but as there are not good washing machines in the village, we cannot guarantee results.
