At Levels 2 and 4, large quantities of wood were found. The wood at Level 2, an example seen here, seemed to be shavings from carving while the wood at Level 4 was a series of logs that had been placed over the top of mound, radiating from the outer edge toward the center, emulating the roof construction of a traditional ger or yurt (as this housing type is known among the neighboring Kazaks).
