Beiram was not the only cultic site that we noted in Uvs aimag. To the southwest of Beiram near Achet Nur (lake) a large Turkic period (ca. 600-800 A.D.) cultic site had three square stone features (probably not burials) framed by slab stones standing on end (only two are visible in the photo, the third is to the right). From each of these squares many stele extended in three long straight lines. None of these have been excavated in Uvs aimag or in the Mongolian Altai mountains.
